The general warranty on the vehicle is 100,000 kilometers or three (3) years, whichever comes first. This does not include tyres or battery.

In order that your warranty remain valid, the following schedule must be adhered to:

1st Service at 10,000 km; 2nd Service at 20,000 km; 3rd Service at 30,000 km and every 10,000 km thereafter (i.e., 40,000 km, 50,000 km) or every 6 months whichever comes first.

Our goal and main objective is to continue to earn your respect and patronage, and we are confident that the HONDA vehicle which you have purchased will give you many years of trouble free motoring pleasure. However, as with everything else, the amount of trouble free motoring you get from your vehicle will to a large measure, be in direct proportion to the care and attention which is given to it.

We would like to suggest that you (or someone you may appoint) take about five minutes and inspect the following items at least once per week:

  1. Engine oil and coolant level.
  2. Automatic transmission level.
  3. Brake fluid level.
  4. Power steering fluid level.
  5. Windscreen washer level.
  6. Battery electrolyte level and terminals for corrosion.
  7. Tyre - Check pressure and examine treads for wear and foreign objects.
  8. Lights - Examine operation of all lights - front, rear and interior.

If you are uncertain on how to perform any of the above checks please consult your owner’s manual or if you should experience any problems call on any of our service representatives at 62-HONDA (Port of Spain); 657-CARS (San Fernando) or 639-CARS (Tobago).

I would like to take this opportunity to remind you that your vehicle is covered by a comprehensive three (3) year warranty or 100,000 km, whichever comes first with the exception of the following:-

  1. Engine tune up (this having been done prior to delivery).
  2. Fuel system cleaning (this checked prior to delivery).
  3. Brake adjustments (this checked before delivery).
  4. Front-end alignment and wheel balancing (this done prior to delivery).
  5. Normal maintenance, including the replacement of such items as - Filters, Spark plugs, Ignition points, Condensers, Wiper blades, Brake and clutch linings.
  6. Deterioration due to normal use and exposure of soft trim, molded rubber or rubber like items and appearance items, such as paint and bright metal parts.
  7. Replacement of any parts due to lack of maintenance or abnormal use and service.
  8. Adjustments which may be required after a reasonable period of use, the extent of which depends upon the Owners individual driving habits, usage of the vehicle and the type of terrain on which the vehicle is operated, such as elimination of squeaks or rattles.
  9. Tyres.
  10. Batteries - These are covered for 24 months.
  11. It is understood that your warranty will become null and void should any of the following be discovered -
    1. Damages caused by the use of parts not approved by HONDA.
    2. Repairs being carried out by any other person other than Classic Motors.
    3. Should the odometer reading be altered so that the mileage cannot be determined.

The warranty is given to: You as the new owner, but the warranty may be transferred to any subsequent owner for the remaining period of warranty provided that Classic Motors is notified in writing.
